There is always drama happening with the USA's government. People are calling it Apple vs. The Government. A shooter in a terrorist act had an IPhone that is believed to have other terrorist contacts in it and messages that could help. But they do not know his password. Hack it you say? That’s part of the problem. Trying to get into an IPhone 10 times unsuccessfully, the phone will reset, deleting every bit of information on it. The government did the smart thing and went to apple. Apple’s policy is to keep your information safe. No matter what. And that’s what they are doing. Apple gave them the information that they could without making a backdoor that the government can get into the phone with. “In Apples public response, the company said it was fighting the F.B.I.’s demands not because it objected to the government unlocking Mr. Farook’s phone but because the government could then ask Apple to undermine the security of other iPhones and because such software could potentially help criminals and repressive governments hack iPhones”. “Apple has never worked with any government agency from any country to create a “backdoor” in any of our products or services. We have also never allowed any government access to our servers. And we never will.” Apple has officially refused the governments demands. And I think they should. I wonder if the government will try to force apple to give them the code.
